Seacoast Bank Announces Expansion In Southwest Florida

STUART, Fla., March 1, 2022 -- Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida ("Seacoast") (NASDAQ: SBCF) Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida (NASDAQ: SBCF), one of the largest Florida-based community banks, today announced expansion in Southwest Florida with the appointment of Jason Brewer as Naples Market President and the establishment of a Naples branch. The move continues Seacoast Bank’s strategic growth and expansion into key markets across Florida.

Jason Brewer has an impressive track record, with more than 24 years of experience in commercial banking, commercial real estate, and wealth management. For the past five years, Brewer has led a successful commercial banking team as market president over Lee and Charlotte counties for a top 10 U.S. commercial bank. Brewer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. A prominent leader in the community, Brewer is a member of the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida and the School of Economics and Finance at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Seacoast Bank has been serving Floridians for nearly a century. The bank’s expansion into Southwest Florida follows years of significant growth across Florida. The new Seacoast Bank branch and commercial banking office opens on February 28 and is located at 856 3rd Ave. S. in Naples. Ron Tanguay, a 30-year banking expert, will serve as branch manager. Tanguay and his team will offer Seacoast’s unique banking experience to retail and commercial customers in Southwest Florida. In October 2021, Seacoast announced the addition of Tim McLean who joined the bank’s real estate lending division as senior vice president of commercial real estate and brings 33 years of commercial banking experience in the Naples market.
